ēska askī is the art and design practice of diasporic nēhiyaw (Cree) artist, Chantale Doyle Breceda, who designed these earrings. The earrings were made by hand by wixárika (Huichol) artist Rosalva Matías Carrillo using Japanese glass seed beads.

  • Hooks are silver plated and hypoallergenic, they measure 1 inch in diameter
  • Earring drop is 2.5 inches and maximum width is 1 inch

ēska askī translates very loosely from the Cree language (nēhiyawēwin) as dreamworld but is not meant to be understood as a direct translation. ēska askī includes an art and design practice and a small shop and gallery space in Guadalajara, Mexico and a studio and showroom in Los Angeles.
