This exquisite top, also known as a Huipil, is the traditional garment worn by Maya women.
This huipil was handwoven from 100% cotton and embroidered using a traditional technique from the region where is was made, presumed to be in Guatemala.
Textiles of this quality are rare finds, and are never duplicated so you will never find another one just like this. The opening for the head is small but there is a small metal zipper at the shoulder to make to opening bigger.
This garment measures 24 inches long by 27 inches wide, it is intended to have a loose, open fit. We do not offer returns on vintage items.
